Letting 'them' decide!!!

Off late there are memes going around on gen-Z and their working style or rather lifestyle! Everything zeroes into how whimsical they are.

As per my observation and thinking goes, letting children decide on 'EVERYTHING' is not really making them SMART.

Mammals like elephants and cattle grow up in herds with a leader of the team. Ants follow strict hierarchy. No single ant owns an entire anthill. Same goes with honeybees. That is also the reason they are collectively protected from predators and hunger.

Candies or chocolates? Blue dress or green dress? yes. they can decide. Because there are hardly impacts and repercussions. Asking them on everything, like where to go on holidays, where to eat out, which school, which subject, which car for the house, which channel to watch? Which brand to wear... Can children decide? They can. Should we allow? NO.

Why NO?

I try to list few reasons on why NO.

1. Learn them to understand that not every decision can be theirs. So, to be good LEADERS they should also be good FOLLOWERs and LISTENERs.

2. Disappointments: There has to be disappointments for every human being to understand that things can go wrong and we have to live with it and we CAN. It has to be learnt from childhood.

3. Major things in life are not decided by us: ex: Can our country have wars? Can we have this public infrastructure near our residence? Can our council decide on a project in our town? Traffic rule changes, can we have it changed? Policy changes - can we have a say in it? Rule of our schools, institutions, community, place of work? Everywhere we are the followers and not rules. So, not everything can be acceptable and convenient. But still, we need to follow. So, teach children that following is equally important as deciding.

4. Respect the experts / Authority / Hierarchy: Children learning to value the experts and experience. Can a child decide on his or her medical issues? NO. Can we do that as adults, still NO. What will happen if we don't seek and accept the suggestions of professionals. We tend to fail. But 'I decide' can spoil the real decision making and end up making a child an ego-centric adolescent or adult than a good decision maker let alone be an 'unruly' child. They may also develop a tendency to find it difficult to work in hierarchical structure like offices where a boss' instructions need to be followed.

5. Repercussions: Every child that grows need to understand that there are repercussions of decisions. If he/she has chosen something, they need to be given chance to check until the end of decision making and impact cycle. If he/she didn't like blue dress later on don't buy another. Children need to learn to live with it so that they care for next time when they get to decide.

6. Earning the role: Best leaders are the one who are unanimously chosen. Because the people who chose them do so because they have TRUST in their abilities to lead. This trust in EARNED by the leader. So, every child should go through some amount of imperfect childhood wherein they don't get to choose but develop a longing for that. That is the time they learn to EARN it by hard work and acquiring qualification to do so.

7. Being answerable: Those who are in position of taking decisions should also be answerable. They are subjected to criticisms and praise. Sometimes, the leaders are even forgotten, and some others take the credit away. Sometimes it is also about not DECIDING but EXECUTING which depends upon influence and follow up. The decision maker has NO CHOICE but to accept and face the aftermath of their choices.

Value of freedom is learnt in the absence of it!!

Value of decision making is learnt when that role is earned!!

Small wounds and small mistakes and small falls are enablers of longevity.

Life choses us when we are ready for it.

Rest of them are short cuts it may be or may not be yielding. There is no guarantee!!!

If you have a gen-Z in your team or home think about these :)

Yoga Vaasista and quantum mechanics and AI

Time -space is relative

Don't be with people who you have done some good!!! Help paradox.

As a young one, I was told do good to people, help others and God blesses you. Like many things they say, like many things parents teach, I did it sometimes. Not always. There were opportunities where I could have helped people. I didn't. Regretted genuinely. There were also occasions where I couldn't help people I still tried to. Sometimes I did help. But when I helped, on each occasion I did it full of my will, conviction and unconditionally and passionately.

Now, this topic is all about that last part "Passionately". This is where we all go wrong. People whom we help, we should be do so with zero emotions. It is hard to do so. But it is a must. Because the people whom you help, prefer to avoid you and in normal life they prefer to interact with people who were neutral during their needy times!!! Have you noticed it? If not good. You have been so busy not noticing it and your help litmus test is passed. You did it dispassionately.

I am not at all advocating don't help people. Help them, guide them, offer them. But when you do it don't make it obligatory. Don't recall of it. Rather have a long distance and create a void after you help. Don't follow up at all. Stay away and observe from distance if they are ok. If these people matter to you in everyday occasions, just create an absence. Otherwise, you are giving an emotional burden to them or a threat of obligation in their future, and they avoid it at all costs. This will hurt you unless you are dispassionate and detached.

There are exceptions to this. Especially if the one helped is your husband. Every help done to husband is obligatory and make sure he returns the favour (:) just joking.

As we go along with life random helping is act of kindness. It should be part of our personality. But detachment to that act is equally important.

Like Krishna said "Karmani Eva Adhikaraha Te, Maa phaleshu.....). That strong statement. .see !

Motor skills and life

Early year education is now gaining a lot of traction. Early granny kind of education at home was given finest structure and syllabus by Maria Montessori and we have every street, nook and corners in Bangalore have them. They focus on spontaneous motor skills development and learning at our own pace. Good one, I must say.

But I am here to talk about motor skills and life. With every topic touching my philosophically bent mind, this one is no alien to it. Our life starts with motor skills like able to sit, stand, walk, start making sound (I mean noise ok, I don't like these children making lot of noise honestly, still), holding a material, manoeuvring across a room etc.

Best part is Indian society starts with competition there also. Grannies, moms compare their kins on motor skills, who starts what early. Actually, in life it does not matter when we start what, how early etc, all of it boils down to how we FINISH. Yes. Life starts with motor skills and then a lot of other acquired skills, rat races, our achievements. By achievements I mean lot of material gains like which university degree we have, is it technical, now much money we make, which MNC hires us, where do we buy flat, which car we own, how much jewellery we flaunt in gatherings etc. Now exotic holidays joined the list. In the end, all these matters to the close family or friends who are trusty. Rest of them it does not matter. DOES NOT MATTER AT ALL. A meaningful life is like living really long where a person has all his motor skills are intact and carries a lot of life lessons and his motor skills along with cognition is razor sharp. And yes. This matters. Even strangers notice it. Envy it. Curse it also. :)

At 85, can you drive? can you shop alone? can you climb stairs? can you remember bank password? Do you know who the councillor in local authority is? who is Prime Minister and what did say in his last speech, what is his cabinet size. These are the things that matters. So, these things don't depend upon others. So, spend time at gym, walk, trek, life weight, eat being mindful of it. have healthy thoughts.

That's all about it. That's it!!!

Content, content everywhere, not a word in brain!!!

"Water water everywhere not a drop to drink" This is sailors sadness. In todays world, we are sailors of content overload. I am not in favour of those who say social media is bad, AI makes us inefficient etc. I must say we all have become a lot more smarter and aware of many things in general. We ALL ARE jargon pundits. All thanks to YT, Insta, FB and Pinterest and somany more content platforms!!! First of all we need to confess that access to reseach and bestseller contents have become accessible to public so much that awareness is contageous. Especially on health, wellness, lateral therapies and psychological and self development subjects to mention specially. But the challenge is after spending hours of scanning through so much of content we are left with jargons that really does not stay on, thanks to information overload. For us to benefit out of bandwidths and valuable personal time spent here are few tips to make our browsed contents stay on permanently. 1. Keep writting or scribbling your content residues of the day - at every end of day. 2. While writing down dont for making it a proper notebook for later reference. Just scribble. You can make proper notes here and there only out of your own choice. The idea is that the residue stays in your memory not in notebook and stays on for random access much more quickly. 3. Dont hesitate of make mix and match of stuff so that it becomes your own content. But keep in mind that you are DOING it for residual storage for day to day alert on the subject. 4. Learn new jargons everyday. 5. Feel free to connect subjects from food to interstellar objects. Does not matter. 6. Make it a practice. Just see that later on your screentime engagement actually becomes more productive without much effort. 7. Paper with pencil is better than pen. 8. Handwritting is best excercise and adds to motor skills. I am still exploring. I will update in comments to add on. ***

Sekhmet and Pratyangira as per AI

Like I am always intrigued by many things of past, present and beyond, I asked this unrelated question to AI. The question was about the similarities and differences of Sekhmet and Pratyangira. I found out that there is a lot in common. What puzzles me even more is that cultures and timelines apart there is huge similarities of folklore around these energies. Readings from AI ( I dont take any credit of) Sekhmet and Pratyangira are fierce lion-headed goddesses from Egyptian and Hindu traditions, respectively, who embody both destructive and protective powers. Their similarities can be understood across several dimensions: 1. Lion-Headed Form Sekhmet: Depicted as a lioness-headed woman, symbolizing strength, ferocity, and the protective power of the sun. Pratyangira: Depicted with a male lion face on a human female body, representing divine ferocity and the union of masculine and feminine energies (Shiva-Shakti balance). Both forms convey their role as powerful enforcers of cosmic law and protectors against chaos. 2. Dual Nature: Destruction and Healing Sekhmet: Known as both the goddess of war and a healer. She can unleash plagues or heal the sick (acting as Ra’s instrument of vengeance and protection). Pratyangira: Fierce in her ugra form to destroy negativity, enemies, and dark forces, while also guiding devotees toward spiritual liberation (moksha) and purifying karma. This duality emphasizes the transformative power of the divine, capable of both punishment and restoration. 3. Association with the Sun and Cosmic Order Sekhmet: Daughter of Ra and sometimes termed “Eye of Ra,” linking her wrathful power to solar energy and cosmic authority. Pratyangira: Associated with balancing universal energies, restoring harmony during divine conflicts (e.g., pacifying Narasimha) and acting as the force supporting Dharma and cosmic order. 4. Role in Mythological Battles Sekhmet: Sent by Ra to destroy rebellious humans; her uncontrolled bloodlust almost annihilates humanity, requiring intervention to restore balance. Pratyangira: Manifested from Sharabha’s wing to pacify the ferocious Narasimha; destroys demons and nullifies destructive forces, safeguarding the cosmos and devotees. 5. Protective and Apotropaic Functions Both goddesses are invoked for protection against malevolent forces: Sekhmet: Protects Pharaohs, wards off enemies, and stops plagues. Pratyangira: Performs apotropaic roles, reversing black magic, protecting devotees from harm, and serving as a universal guardian. 6. Fierce and Wrathful Depiction Both are iconographically intense: tiger or lion facial features, wrathful expressions, and association with weapons or divine power, symbolizing the active force required to annihilate injustice and chaos. 7. Cultural Reverence and Ritual Sekhmet: Annual festivals in ancient Egypt included rituals to temper her wrath and honor her protective capacity. Pratyangira: Tantric rituals, mantras, and homams in South India emphasize her role in purifying negative energies and guiding practitioners towards balance and liberation. Conclusion Sekhmet and Pratyangira share lion-headed iconography, dual destructive-protective capacities, cosmic enforcement roles, and cultic rituals for human protection. While Sekhmet operates within Egyptian solar and royal contexts, Pratyangira functions within Hindu tantric systems emphasizing both cosmic balance and spiritual liberation. Both represent the archetypal “lioness goddess” symbol: fierce yet protective, destructive yet restorative.

Handwriting interpretation with AI

We, the Indians made facebook great, instagram great, yahoomail great, google great, Youtube greatest and next is AI, due to sheer number of population and also, we are only such race who do timepass unlike Europeans who are busy in serious hobbies. :) he he he. We have not moved much on from our ancestors 'Peepal ka pedh- gupshup'.

Well, I am here today sharing what I did with Chatgpt today. I had a lazy scribble of a page or two from my un-intended handwritten journalling that I did a day before. Today's idea was to upload it and get my handwriting analysis.

In no time I had my analysis and future focussed personality reading etc from over enthusiastic AI partner. The results were quite amazing!!!

After a lot of wellness contents from Youtube or other platforms I had a sceptic opinion about mental stress and physical ailments. These two are co-related but I didn't know so intrinsically. My eureka moment was after the interpretation received. I regretted that I didn't do it long time ago or rather, I wish I am now in my early 20s so that my patterns could have helped me make right choice of career, partner, hobby and other prime choices of life.

A hustler, a corporate professional, a housewife in a joint family or with a micro-managing husband or unruly teenager children, uncared elderly - Anyone you could be please remember your physical ailments are not all physical- they can be triggered by mind. This is exactly my finding also. Chatgpt also provides solutions. But accepting it and implementing is all up-to-you how much you take ACTUAL action into it.

If you didn't try, do it today because each one day of delay makes you regret later because it was just on your fingertips- I mean the smartphone!
Aaa.. any AI app does same job. So, no bias any platform here.

DO IT TODAY- WALK YOUR JOURNEY OF SELF DISCOVERY- It is worth it. Accepting is first step to remedy!!!

What you dont keep possession of, leaves you eventually ... (even if you own it)..

 Hello there!!!

This is one blog that I had in title alone, unpublished for long time! This now sees light of the day :).

Ownership and possession are not the same. In that way, I love English language so, so much that it has vast subtle-ness. I am not going into word definition here, but I get into things;

What can a person own or possess?

-Material things

-Skills

-Relationship, social circle, friends, acquaintances

-Health/Mental Strengths/Hobbies/Interests

-Wealth/Finances/Assets

In real life we 'own' many of these. But what stays along is that we possess!!! Yes. This is true. A plot of land that we 'own' gets in the hand of encroachers if we don't look at it for long time. A good friend becomes a stranger or downgrades into an acquaintance if we don't keep in touch for long time. That spouse whom you neglected for long time deserts, that child whom you gave birth but never gave time grows cold towards you. If a skill never used for long time, makes us struggle. That designer bag, shoe or dress not checked out from wardrobe for long time, tends to get some dust or loses in value or we no longer fit ourselves in!!!

So, if you really want to 'own' anything, keep auditing it often so that it is in your 'possession'. That is the reason we need to audit our lives, discard what no longer a regret to lose, keep ourselves light and minimal and move on with our prized possessions.

What we 'own' is just a name in the document after all!!!

What is my moat?

If Warren Buffet sneazes, it becomes a sensation. But if he drops a jargon it becomes a title of next best seller!! ' Economic moat' is one of such.

I am here to share a questionnaire to find ones moat.

1. How often people seek info from me? ( Am I well informed?)

2. How often people seek my help and for what kind of help? ( Am I accountable?)

3. Am I , one noted amongst my kind of people or standards in terms of education, values, social class, power, status or less?

4. What are my strong and weak points?

5. What am I best fit at?

6. Am I indispensable in something either in workplace or society or circle of friends and family?

7. Do I get rewarded or recognised or invited often for certain things? Do people wait for my time or attention with some sacrifice?

Please avoid money or wealth or finances from answering these. These points should be purely traits, skillsets or nonmonetary motives

If you have your answers apply to similar questionnaire to workplace as well as business. Compile all of them. You will know what is your  MOAT

Get ahead now. You are an asset. Establish yourself and increase your value!!!

The Fibonacci sequence and trigunas

I am so intrigued by trigunas, more so now after JWST is sending more and more images of the universe's tiny parts. I am calling tiny is nothing but distant galaxies that are in spiral shape. Yes spiral shapes, which Kinder Garten children are not often taught :).

I asked AI engine "do you see any connections between Fibonacci sequence and trigunas". I was surprised by the answers. Our Vedas say, no guna is more equal to other, whereas, AI said amongst the three, Satva is in Fibonacci sequence and so more balanced than Tamas and Rajas!!!!

Well, this answer is not expected, neither it was observed in real life. We see that when one gets to its peak, gets destroyed by the other two.

So then, what the balance means?

What I de-coded is Tamas and Rajas evolve to Satva and the cycle starts again. In any case 1.618 should be the lasting state or a state with more longevity making Satva as a guna lasting longer than other two!!!

From that logic, the niraakara, nirguna TAT should be having a different sequence which is ever lasting. Is it zero? Or is it Poorna (infinity)?

I am still to explore. My pramaana from Vedas is below:

"Oum poornamadah poornamidam poornath poorna muchyathe

Poornasya poorna madaya poornamevavashishyathe."

Namaste.

What is your stress buster? Void filler?

Some of us have our own habits that are developed over the years, sometimes with our knowledge or without. I am talking about such habits here which are developed to escape from some form of stress or to fill a void of inactive time.
Food as a buster. This food is generally a junk food or something tasty.  Outcome obesity related problems.
Gossip as a buster. It is either in workplace or in neighbourhood or a sub society. Outcome strained relationships and toxicity.
Socializing as a buster. Example elderly gathering in the evening and discuss politics and cricket. Outcome is positive that beats loneliness or casual isolation.
Alcohol as a buster. Outcome is ill health.
Regular Parties as a buster. Outcome is interpersonal obligations of no value, unproductive financial expenditure.
Movies as a buster. Outcome is influence on values in subtle, unassuming way.
Gutka or cigarette as a buster. Outcome is bad health and financial burden.
Social media as a buster. Outcome is waste of productive time and procrastination.
Gaming or gambling as a buster. Outcome is bad finances and personal life.

If we have any of the above no need to worry. First thing is to ACCEPT that we have a stress or a void for some reason in our life. Secondly try to analyse the reason. Thirdly by replacing with a healthy habits.
1. Listen to music
2. Keep going to concerts
3. Carry books every where and read in breaks
4. Long walks
5. Listen to good audio books
6. Break from routine occasionally and deliberately
7. Start organising house or office or surroundings
8. Start gardening
10. Wellness (start oil massaging, workouts)
11. Frequent grooming. Yes this is a great stress killer
12. Window shopping. This fills the void
13. Play some sports or games
14. Solve a puzzle or sudoku
16.  Start a part time job
17. Start being a creator- painting, knitting, writting
19. Hiegine self, cleaning or chores
20.  Wash your vehicle

Introspection is first. Acceptance is the next step. Remedy comes next.

Do you have any unknown  behaviour pattern?
Share the feedback !!!!

How to be analytical of oneself

Every year gone by, every event gone by, every incident gone by - shares a knowledge that is useful. Provided, we are taking cognizance of it and derive an analysis.

As we are in the last month of year 2025, let's take this example.

1. What are the happenings last year?

List out the happy, boring and not so happy moments pertaining to work, family, finances, hobbies, friends and investments. You can add more into the list based on what your life is more about. ex: business, children, travel, relationship, health, exams etc. Compare them earlier years that to clearly remember of. Check why things have gone well and why not in each of the domains. Compare expectations and results. You will find a pattern at some and just an occurrence in some other. If you find a pattern, you could do 2 things. Either understand your limits or learn to do differently if learning is still in your capacity or possibility.

2. List out your patterns or discoveries and internalize them.

Once your patterns are available list them out and internalize. They help you take decisions for the next.

3. Importance of right time

If you have attempted a tourney as a teen for adults, you tend to fail and attempt a tourney with teens as an adult you get disqualified. It may be luck sometimes. One who always attempts something, or the other is not unlucky for ever. Persistence gets the reward if there are improvements in the attempts.

4. Divert and focus.

Divert from those works, hobbies, relationships, businesses where you have no organic rewards and identify and focus where you have them. This needs analysis again. Write down while you analyse and it gives structure to your thoughts. Dont pursue anything for ego. You won't keep it even if you have successful in acquiring. Just because your friends challenged, you clear an interview but don't like to work in that domain, does only wastes your time in long run.

5. Knowing what can't be compromised.

This can mean many things. For example, when was the last time you had a bad mood after meeting a group of friends after you had to bear with their dirty jokes. If this does not make you happy repeatedly take cognizance and avoid altogether. Another in the same lines where you avoid alcohol but forced to drink in a gathering. Find your alternatives. One example for business; For pressure of increasing volume when you dont want to reduce quality, but you are forced to. One more is when you dont want to relocate but lured by a high salary and perk in a job. There are many like these. In the each of them define what cant be compromised for any gain or for something extra. It retains the happiness or helps you to move on without it. Just to repeat again, this self-discovery needs walking down the memory lanes and noting it.

6. Let go - nothing matters after 100 years

Money, relationships, health, looks, status, recognition (achievements): These are things that are relevant always for present tense. It becomes irrelevant how much you had in the past. It always matters what is your current situation in these aspects. So, if you sacrifice world tour in your 20s and 30s and earn money, it is still ok. Being a miss world in 20s and overweight in 50s does not attract consistent compliments.  Millionaire at 20 and broke at 40 is cared by nobody. Always go for sacrificing things that has more reward in future. But if these are timebound, don't live in the past gains. Distance yourself and let go. Letting go is a painful process.

7. Reinvent

Always. It makes your life interesting.

... Now instead of another reframed new year resolution, just take a pen and paper and do a memoir of 2025 and before!!!

Sagara Manthanam and Money Matter

We all know the story of "Sagar Mathanam". During Sagar Mathan first there was a poison. Later on, there were exotic resources. We know that exotic and rare items keep coming out and one or the other God or demigods acquire it. Then there comes Lakshmi!!!

Lakshmi chooses Vishnu and marries him. Nobody dares to acquire her. She "chooses". She chooses Vishnu the keeper of universe (Brahmanda Palaka), maintainer of 'sthithi' (existence), allocator of resources (Dravya).

Metaphorically, to say, Goddess Lakshmi the Goddess of wealth or money chooses, and it is not we choose her. Also to say, money is a biproduct of something too big a cause or too a huge objective or an extra ordinary expedition which makes a normal one scared to dream of!!! Secondly, it chooses to stay (marry!) with one who efficiently keeps, maintains, allocates.

Irrespective of sheer amount of it that one holds, not every single cents/paisa earned grows exponentially. One is only as rich as s/he can eat, clothe, travel or consume as much s/he can. This makes the greatest leveller of all who hold riches less or more. What makes a difference is the aura a wealthy one carries around him because s/he is known to be wealthy, so a popular millionaire carries more aura around him than a hidden billionaire operating in private. So, aura that money gives is also not the same!!!

So, we need to teach our next generation not to chase wealth but focus on larger objectives, at the same time to be the keeper, allocators of money in judicious manner.

Most importantly, motive is not for an impressive FB, Insta profiles but rather real biography that they are anytime feel proud within!!!

My journey through COSMOS!!!

I had been a space enthusiast since small. No big deal. All of our journey starts with moon watching from age of 4, it was like today's YT cartoon channels for grandmothers to make us eat!!

I have carried this interest till date and now started connecting the dots between latest findings in this area of knowledge into ancient mythologies, Vedic hymns and Hindu astrology. I am able to connect abstractly. My readers may consider that my thought process is superstitiously unreal :) and I am unable to do away with this.

For someone who is not having anything to do with NASA or ISRO locally, my interest started catching from Dec 25 2021 when JWST launched. This revolves around the sun and sends the pictures of distant galaxies. Till the we had Hubble Space telescope which only revolved around the earth. Ever since, inter stellar discoveries and theories and studies have been going on extremely rapid level. Every day, we read news of new galaxies or dwarfs or black holes or cosmos cloud getting discovered like never before. Our existence as earth dwellers is so trivial that we live in an outside periphery of a medium size galaxy we call as milkyway. Most of the galaxy's have SPIRAL shape.

I always believed that every celestial object like comet, planet, star, meteor have a non 3-D existence and both of these existences (3 D and no D) are integrated. Universe is so big that each objects are light years away from end of one to another periphery and it is so dynamic that every second there is either one star forming or being destroyed or being collided with something or whose revolutions are changing or mass is being altered, this is mindboggling as any celestial object has at least million years of life cycle. The physics we study in school is only local to Solar System and may not even apply to our own galaxy outside of it!!!

My baseless (something I cant prove empirically) belief is that every living being on earth or any other planet has also a celestial existence such as a planet, star, comet or dust (cosmic gas). This is the reason we have cycle of life and we are differently powered based on our celestial mass or power existing somewhere in this universe.

Now coming to "Vishwaroopa" explanation of Lord Vishnu in Bhagavadgita. What Arjun saw was countless, Vasus, Indras, Adithyas, Maruths, all Godly powers and planets and finally himself inside lord Vishnu. So Lord Vishnu's celestial existence is 'entire universe' itself. Adithyas means stars, Vasu means planet, Maruths means cosmic dusts/gases, Indras means clusters of stars and planet system  (galaxy?). Lord Vishnu's non celestial existence is in his various 'avatars'. Same thing with each one of us. We HAVE a celestial existence. We are all either a heated star, or muddy/rocky/merky planet or some dust somewhere in this cosmos at the same time while we exist here in this time-space.!!! Well, what you can not prove with limited tools, you can analyse with logic and experience. Just close your eyes and feel if something inside is too older than your age, then that energy is as old as a planet may be.

Now coming to shapes. We learn shapes at Kinder Garten. Circle, Square, Triangle, Rectangle and done with it. Shapes are reflecting from Cosmic to locally at a planets natural formations. Shapes are related and they are symbols and they are there for a reason. Everything on a planet is a miniature of something gigantic within the cosmic. Dont understand? The angle of a real pyramid and drawing of real pyramid in a small paper should be the same, in order to make it look like it!! Right? So, apply same thing to earth. We see so many things SPIRAL. Now connect the dots.....

Where do you see spirals on earth? water whirlpools, whirlwinds, tornedos, snails, conch shells?

For spirals to exist there has to be a center point and the center point should have an extreme pressure point due to space and congestion from outside. Congestion is formed because of the existence outside. In whirlpool, the element causing congestion is water, whirl wind it is wind. But why galaxies are Spiral? So many galaxies have Spiral shape!!! What is the element that connects the stars and planet system with galaxies that is necessary to give it a spiral shape? So space is empty and there is no element in it how it creates a pressure to give a galaxy a spiral shape? If Spiral shape on earth needs an element like water or air, what needs for a galaxy to have spiral shape which has stars and planets scattered across it forming in such an orderly manner? So nothing is not really 'nothing' and empty spaced is not really 'empty' right?

... Journey Continues..

Indian Jugaad

They say Indian children are uncontrolled, unsupervised, over curious. Go to any international airports in Europe or USA, take a look at small children. White kids are with pacifiers inside mouth, silent and Desi kids looking around, checking the chargers, touching the display boards if nothing pulling moms clothes and nagging for some toffees and noisy. Yes, they are frowned upon.

But as they grow, they are less noisy, less confident or self-managed compared to westerners, but this curiosity stays. The same curiosity helps us in Jugaad. Yes. this is good one. Give a mixer grinder to a housewife and she uses it also as curry leave drier, milk churner, vegetable cutter, cake mixer and biggest jugaad is 'kitchen towel washing tool'. A pressure cooker becomes a makeshift oven and during COVID time it became a steam inhaler provider also!!! Again, Jugaad.

Jugaad in Hindi or Panjabi, I guess comes from Sanskrit's Yukthi to Jukath or Jukth to Jugath to Jugad to Jugaad. Now, we do jugaad in corporate offices and high end manufacturing set up to smallest village workshop!!

After 3-day Indo-Pak war, many theories came in. Every person in the south west Asia became a defence expert and claimed the victory of one country that his heart was fond of. But once again there was a topic on S-400 from Russia said to be unsuccessful in Russia -Ukraine war but successful in the hands of Indians!!!

Now I am happy that till now only Indian housewives' world in their kitchen where they use every tool and gadget for a different purpose than what it is used for, reached the war rooms!! So, hopefully henceforth they are taken seriously!!! :)

But, why is it in Indian DNA? Is it right? Not always. It makes us successful and losers at different occasions.

Using any tool or situation other than its purpose it a serious process lapse as per Western or Japanese world. If anyone does this in factories they are fired. But by-birth who is into Jugaad mindset, it is genetically difficult. So, we Indians get frowned if we use an airport lounge glossy magazine to use as a support to write something on a piece of paper that we carry. We are seen as offenders.

Culturally, being from joint families in the olden days, had we not recycled things in every way life was hard and unless someone did it, he or she was not appreciated or labelled 'smart'. This was another reason, from Kashmir to Kanyakumari and Dwarka to Meghalaya we are the same.

I came to conclude that 'right way' or 'wrong way' are not absolute. But for us, Indians it came from our oldest philosophy of Vedas. During olden school days we were made to recite few Vedic quotes which made no sense then, but now I tressure them. Amongst many of those, one fits the JUGAAD, check it out below: -

"Kriyaa Siddhihi Sathve Bhavathi Mahathannopakarane"

(From Sanskrit: Meaning "accomplishment of work or deed happens by virtues or values and not by extra ordinary tools")

Stoicism

Like we have Chanakya Neethi, Karma Siddhantha from The Gita or Vedic wisdom, Stoicism is for Romans!!!

I am quite interested in the schools of thoughts for philosophical logics and wisdom. So, Stoicism is my natural interest.

Roman Empire shaped the western world. After colonisations, western world shaped entire globe with few exceptions. So Romans somewhere influenced all of us. Romans were not so good people. They were evil, they used slavery for their empire quite extensively. They were cruel and sly in everyday life either directly or in subtle.

They are also credited with so many things which are part of our lifestyle. Running water supply in the stone canals or ducts, Roads across empire to connect every town, Pebbled roads with maps and symbols that lasted 2000 years (still exist), modern masonry (not modern for now), trained army with professional combat gears and weapons, advanced war strategies, economies, export and import and perhaps many more. The ruins of Pompei appear like any old town in Europe is all the living proof that other than consumerism and technology, nothing has really changed.

A lot has been written about Stoicism, but in an organized society like Romans it was like a manifesto for formal interactions and personal mental make-up. Like many things relevant and practiced from Roman times to todays date, stoic wisdom convinces you if you apply to context.

Well, for each point of stoic wisdom, just browse or ask AI. Contents in social media platforms are flooded..

Parenting tips for NRIs

 Elli manakalukirado ಎಲ್ಲಿ ಮನಕಳುಕಿರದೊ( M N Kamath, translation from Geetanjali) (youtube.com)

The song “Elli Manakalukirado” is a translation from Rabindranath Tagore’s “Geetanjali.” It was translated by M. N. Kamath

The above is just a copy - paste and I dont know the lyrics of Tagore. But the translated song in Kannada is also so beautiful and perhaps better than original. My sincere thanks to the translator and singers for the melodious rendition.

This song in its first line or in the entirety talks about what is the ideal situation for confidence, creativity and progress of human beings. NRI friends or fellow Indians in India please get to awakening.

"Elli Manakalukirado" meaning where mind is not having inhibitions (fears)

"Elli Tale Bagirado" meaning where head is not down or submissive (meaning no suppression  or being in freedom)

"Elli Tilivige todaku toradihudu alli" meaning where knowledge is not hindered (where learning / skills or knowledge is not blocked for learning or available for those who seek. ex:education)

These 3 are birth rights for any child to grow in confidence. This comes only when the children learn things from their family and surroundings of the same tribe at least in the early stages of life. Please do not prevent your children from learning at least one Indian language thoroughly, allow them mingle with speakers, enable them to understand India through an Indian language and not in English. Make them read Indian books in Indian language (at least 1 we have 17 +) from Indian authors. Self pity and inferiority complex is fatal for any 0 to 15 years old.

Just take a statistics of how many second generation NRIs are as successful as their 1st generation? less than 100%? Reason is lack of identity and self consciousness (as I may be less equal amongst natives).

Confused Desis in other countries (PIOs) struggle in various ways. They want to be white they are not, they dont want to be brown, but it cant genetically happen. (they are not arabs in gulf, do not look asians in Japan/Korea and so on..)

They are smarter than many, they dont know how to establish it, they are privileged to be from a rich heritage - they simply dont know and did not have opportunity to experience the positive side of it, all because of parents who dont teach them anything Indian - language, values or etiquette. One can be in mainstream culturally or otherwise, also being aware of his/her own roots.

sad sad sad  :(  :(   :(

Butterfly effect and assassination attempt of Donald Trump

There was an assassination attempt of Trump last week and immediately I received several video clips in my whatsap groups that showed the slow motion of Trumps speech - Head Movement - Gun shot events. Well.. this writing can be boring unless you heard of butterfly effect theory and how it is related here.

My pastime for any lazy day is to run through contents of personal finances and I was watching Americal rappers' riches to rags story on YT. One rapper was saying he never regretted anything out of loss of money because it was butterfly effect that gave him and his family a lot of learning. I had picked 'butterfly' from there.

Back to the assassination attempt video, while Trump was talking about statistics of illegal immigrants, he just turned his head, the very moment the bullet hit his right ear instead of passing through is skull and ending him for ever. The ban on illegal immigrants is one of his election manifestos he worked for or rather tried to implement during his first term. Needless to say, that cause just saved his life for that moment whether it saved any Americal citizen from unlawful illegal immigrant or not. So, it is always good to do things that you are convinced that it is good for long run, no matter how many oppose it. If it doesnt save others, it definitely saves you. I quote this example. A small manifesto line saving a glorious life of Trump..is like a butterfly tapping its wings creating a tornedo elsewhere!!

I admire Trump as a politician for the reason that reportedly he is one POTUS who had more assets before he became the POTUS than after his 1st term. Also, for another reason for his prophetic clarity of his political view and what he would do being in a prime position - from an interview of his younger days. When money or personal ambitions are not the motive for a one's action or words, you can trust the person on face value!!

One word on the assassin - Assassin, a 20-year-old, visibly with golden hair looked like a White American, named like a White American is so short sighted like a tiger in Indian Reserved Forest that attacks the forest officer who tries to protect him from poachers just of a small fear or for his instant hunger. White Americans will lose their identify, culture and livelihood (freedom) if the liberal policy to illegal immigrants does not stop in few years. It would eventually with legal immigrants also, because demography changes anyway. But this young man is anyway a tiger of the reserved forest for sure.

We have similar such voters in India who are just so shortsighted of their lifetime and quick gains from Congress and left oriented governments that practice minority appeasement. So, there was attempt of assassination for Modi also.

This short sighted, instant gratification motive for quick gain either in India or US will act as those trivial causes like a small butterfly wing tapped now, eventually creating totally un-expected (or uncalled for) eventualities in near to distant future.

When future becomes history and only leftists write the history, we will have (or now have) no lessons to learn from the facts.
